What you’ll need:
Two 1.5g weighted strips (from 1g-per-inch tape)
Two 4g weighted strips
One 9g Cap Coin
Overgrip
Placement:
Put the 1.5g strips at 9 and 3 o’clock
Place the 4g strips over the bottom corners
Add the Cap Coin to the base of the handle
This creates an oversized sweet spot and gives the paddle a rock-solid feel behind the ball. You’re adding head weight, but the Cap Coin offsets it so the paddle still feels quick in hand.
What it changes:
Increases swingweight by ~3.5 points
Boosts twistweight by ~0.7 points
Fine Tuning:
If it feels too heavy, swap the 1g-per-inch tape for 0.5g-per-inch tape
If it still feels too light, replace the 1.5g strips with 2.5g strips
Small adjustments make a big difference.
