This build delivers a bigger sweet spot boost than the lightweight build while still improving maneuverability.
What you’ll need:
Two 3g strips (cut from 0.5g-per-inch tape)
One 12g Cap Coin
Overgrip
Placement:
Start each strip 2–3 inches above the grip
Let it cover the bottom corners and run up the sides
Since we’re placing weight slightly higher this adds more weight to the sides which improves the sweet spot more and then the 12g Cap Coin offsets the higher weight placement to improve the paddles balance and hand speed.
What it changes:
Increases swingweight by ~2.5 points
Boosts twistweight by ~0.55 points
Fine Tuning:
If it feels too heavy, move the tape down about an inch
If it still feels too light, move the tape up about an inch
Small adjustments make a big difference.
Finish it off with an overgrip to keep your handle fresh and dialed in.
