What you'll need:

• 0.5g per inch Tuning Tape roll
• Overgrip

Placement:

Add 3 grams (6 inches of tape) starting just above the handle on each side

Why this placement?

Placing most of the weight below the balance point helps bring the balance down so it better matches the paddle’s lighter swing weight. The half-gram tape spreads a small amount of weight farther up the sides, which improves twist weight and expands the effective sweet spot without adding much extra heft.

Fine tuning:

Some players prefer elongated paddles to sit a little heavier, usually in the low-120 swing weight range. If that’s you, add another inch of half gram tape to each of the two top corners in addition to the setup above. That will push the swing weight up while keeping a similar balance.
